Clay has been my companion and challenge for over 30 years. I love its malleability and responsiveness. Like all functional potters, I try to make pots that fit into people's lives--pots that work and pots that delight.
I studied Socialwork at PSU and only in my last term took a clay course--and I've been hooked ever since. I'm primarily self-taught. My practice of Chinese brush painting, several trips to Japan, and life along the banks of the Susquehanna River all find voice in my pottery.
