Jessica Daman began Sugar Mountain Jewelry in 2004. Each piece of jewelry is meticulously handcrafted starting from just raw materials such as sheet and wire. My jewelry work is often very textural, and combines color in the form of surface treatments, gemstones, and enamels.
All of my jewelry is made in my studio in Northern Kentucky. I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Slippery Rock University with a concentration in metalsmithing and jewelry making. I have also studied at Maine College of Art, Penland School of Crafts, and taken numerous specialized workshops.
Sugar Mountain Jewelry has exhibited at juried shows and galleries throughout the Midwest and North Eastern United States since 2004. I began making hand made jewelry in 1992.
