Jeri weaves on a 48” 10 shaft Macomber floor loom she purchased shortly after she took her first weaving class in the late 1990’s. For a period of time the loom sat idle next to the treadmill. On a whim, she dusted off the cobwebs of both and started a new love affair. Thus, what began as a hobby turned into a passion and now a full time career.
Her initial weaving consisted of simple scarves. Over the years, Jeri has delved into complex weaving structure to use on her hand painted warps in order to produce cloth to make wearable art.
It is Jeri’s opinion that what one wears should not only be functional, but should make one feel beautiful and special. She makes every effort to achieve that goal in every piece she weaves and constructs.
